      Something for

Following the uncertain times we’ve found ourselves over the past year, we are reminded of how important it is for children to be outdoors exploring, making new friends with others and enjoying their school holidays, not to mention giving parents the ability to be back at work… we therefore brought back our ever-popular Day Camps!

School holiday childcare available at two of our Ofsted registered locations. Xplore Activity Camps are staffed by Xplore-trained instructors and sport camps are run by school sports staff.

With drop off available from 8:30 and pick up at 16:30, our day camps are a great option  to fit around parents’ working day.

Available weekdays for young teens to get outside and try their hand at new, exciting and challenging outdoor activities!

There are 4 activities a day of outdoor adventure to get stuck into – from archery to team games, there is something for everyone!

      Safe, fun & action-packed
      school holiday camps

      What to expect?

Each day, there are 4 activity sessions to take part in. Normally at the beginning of each activity session, our friendly instructors will introduce a choice of activities to choose from meaning that everyone can pick and mix their day!

      Frequently Asked Questions

      Covid-19 FAQs

Unfortunately, it will only be possible to book full week (4 days for Easter) in order to adhere to Covid-secure protocols.

We are operating similarly to schools by putting children into ‘bubbles’ in which they remain each day following the same schedule and not mixing with children from other bubbles to minimise any potential transmission. In addition to this, all parents will be asked to complete a symptom checker upon the first day at camp to ensure that no body with suspected symptoms is in attendance, and we hope that this alongside operating small, controllable and traceable bubbles will mean we can run without problem.

In addition to operating ‘bubbles’, Xplore staff will continue to remind children to remain 2 metres apart. The majority of activities will be set up to be delivered 2 metres apart with the exception on activities that require a member of staff to safety check equipment.

For more information, please see our full Covid-19 FAQs

In order to maintain social distancing for parents and to prevent queues, each camp will have its own sign in area which will be signposted from the main entrance.

Children will only interact with their “bubble’ and their instructors.

    • High-contact areas will be cleaned thoroughly and regularly.
    • Increased hand washing before and after each activity.
    • Equipment will be cleaned before the start and end of every activity.
    • The sharing of equipment will be kept to a minimum.
    • Where sharing is required, equipment will be disinfected between uses.
    • General FAQs

If you’d like to book more than 1 child in, please add the the camp for child 1 to your cart and checkout, then repeat for child 2.
