In partnership with our sister company, PSA Academies, our Rugby Camp is perfect for boys and girls aged 12 to 16 who want to try rugby, improve their skills alongside other like-minded rugby fans and is suitable for those with or without prior experience.
This 1-week rugby course consists of 4 daily training sessions – the sessions will be broken up into smaller sessions focusing on different areas of athletic development, training and assessment such as game management and core skills.
Delivering the course will be elite level coaches from PSA coaches who have a wealth of experience from all areas of game both domestically and internationally. At the end of the course, players will receive feedback by all coaches to improve and maximise their game as well as a player pack including training tops.

Coaching
During the rugby course, players will spend 4 half days with our elite level coaches from PSA Academies focusing on the development of all rugby skills from areas on and off the field. Each morning will begin with a class-based High Performance Clinic after which players are out on the field for a core skills sessions, game management and assessments covering both attacking and defensive elements such as passing, kicking, rucking, tackling and decision making. Our aim by the end of the week will be for players to have a better understanding of the game and learning of what it takes to be a rugby player on and off the field. Across the week, players will receive 9 hours of rugby training and assessment, 6 hours of athletic development, and 1.5 hours of class based High Performance Clinics. At the end of the course, players will receive feedback on the areas that they need to focus on to maximise their potential as a rugby player. You will also receive a player pack which contains 2 t-shirts and a bag. |
Kit
Players will need to bring sports kit with them, including football boots, gym trainers and a gumshield (players will not use full contact, there is an initiative for all young players to wear gumshields during training sessions in order to get used to wearing them). |
